1. Service Overview

MacRevive provides MacBook repair services including collection, repair, and delivery. By booking a repair, you agree to these terms.

2. Booking and Payment

  • A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking and order parts.
  • The remaining balance is due upon completion of the repair.
  • Deposits are refundable if we cannot complete the repair (No Fix, No Fee guarantee).
  • Payments are processed securely via Stripe.

3. Collection and Delivery

  • Collection and delivery are free within 20 miles of our service base.
  • A charge of £1 per mile applies for distances over 20 miles.
  • You must be present at the agreed collection/delivery time.
  • If you are unavailable, we may charge a re-delivery fee of £20.

4. Courtesy Laptop

  • A Chromebook will be provided during your repair at no extra charge.
  • The Chromebook must be returned in the same condition when we deliver your MacBook.
  • Loss or damage to the Chromebook will incur a replacement charge of £150.
  • The Chromebook is provided "as is" for basic web browsing and productivity.

5. Repairs and Warranty

  • All repairs carry a 12-month warranty covering parts and labour.
  • Warranty does not cover accidental damage, liquid damage, or misuse after repair.
  • If a repaired component fails within the warranty period, we will repair or replace it at no cost.
  • Warranty claims must be reported within 7 days of noticing the issue.

6. No Fix, No Fee

  • If we cannot repair your device, we will refund your deposit in full.
  • This applies only to technical inability to repair, not customer cancellation.
  • If repair is possible but you choose not to proceed, a diagnostic fee of £49 applies.

7. Data and Privacy

  • We are not responsible for data loss. Back up your device before collection.
  • We will not access, copy, or share your personal data.
  • Devices may be wiped as part of the repair process - we will inform you if this is necessary.
  • Your personal information is used only to provide our service and is never sold.

8. Liability

  • Our maximum liability is limited to the cost of the repair.
  • We are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, or consequential damages.
  • Pre-existing damage will be documented at collection to protect both parties.

9. Cancellation

  • You may cancel before we collect your device for a full refund.
  • Once parts are ordered, cancellation will incur the cost of parts already purchased.
